A concept named "Scribbly" that was commercialised as Appen.

Appen was designed as a simple low cost pressure sensitive pen for tablets. It uses a novel method, that interfaces physical tools with digital platforms. This negates the need for expensive technologies such as Bluetooth or Wifi and makes the product passive requiring no power. A simple audio feedback loop via a linear potentiometer attached to the pen nib was all that was needed to create this product. This product was successfully patented. Sold Worldwide by Giochi Preziosi, as core and licensed product.
